Speechless from joy, that is! We finally got to pick our unit and it's no less than our 6th choice! We're really very thankful to God for it.

Our 1st and 2nd choices were showflats which were quickly snapped up right on the first day of selection. Our selection was on the second day and, just as we were told, chances were slim for us getting one of those.

Our 3rd to 5th choices were in an area that had units that were laid out differently from the other 5-room apartments we were looking at. We really liked the unique layout and the location. But so did some other people, it seems. :P

Still, it doesn't mean that we're not happy with our 6th choice, which is the one we finally got. There's lots going for it, and it was the top choice we had for the particular premium apartments area so it's all really very good. :D

To our surprise and delight, the Housing Development Board of Singapore informed us just this morning that there were available units for us to purchase with the Walk-In-Selection scheme.

So it was a mad rush down to HDB Hub just to get a queue number. Obviously, it's a first-come-first-served scheme, so this means that 352 people get to select their choice units before it comes to our turn.

Kris and I decided to spend this whole day (Saturday) cleaning up and packing our rooms for the *big* shift to living together. Dumping loads of clothes and stuff.

After staying off any form of exercise for nearly 3 months due to doctors' orders, there's no better time than the present to take steps back to full fitness. Besides, the wedding is less than a month away and I want to fit that specially tailored suit for the event! :P

In the absence of the convenient Canon Powershot A80, I used the Apple iSight to stitch together a short, silent movie 'commercial' launching the wedding website, mrandmrschee.com, highlighting the special invitation cards that were made and are being sent out starting today!

Still looking for contributions to the 'Downloads' section, so if any of ya feel inspired, do write us some fanmail, okies? Preferrably with nice attachments to add to the site too. What I was thinking would be couple of 'artist's impressions' of the couple or stuff done to a 1024x768 wallpaper with some prominent display of the wedding date so that people can be reminded of it right on their desktop!

Maybe something with the cheese theme... hmmm... Or shoujo and shounen and everything in-between :P
